My Comments:  There are controversy's over this rare breed of dog as with many really RARE breeds.

  What I have read is that the main 'founder' or Breed Club did not sell out to other 'registries' and the main stock and founding club is still holding strong.  The main breed club does NOT recognize any dogs that are not registered within its original stud books.

   In my opinion it is illegal for anyone to take another group or individuals idea or 'breed' and claim to be registering dogs of like, either by name or by similar standards (blue prints) or by the look of such a breed. There fore I must stand behind the founding club whole heartedly.

  As with many Rare breeds, other larger and wealthier registries have somehow either gotten folks to come over to them to sign up their rare breed.  These persons who have bought their dogs from the founding clubs and or breeders, have 'splintered' off and formed their own clubs or have as a group gone to a large registry to have their dogs registered with them.

   Again I say that this is wrong and should be illegal and those persons responsible should be held accountable for such a crime.

   Now, if the founder of the foundation stock has 'sold' his (what I call) patent or stud books, then that is a different story.

   If the founder of the breed has not sold or signed over any legal and binding papers to any other individual and the founder and the original club is still in operation and breeding, (having records and stud or matron books to prove it) then it should be illegal for any registry to claim to register a breed that has not been signed over to them by the founder of the breed.
